Origins

Since historically the Canaries archipelago has always been a great "stop in the way" place, the mixture of cultures from different continents has left its trace in the form of valuable architectural, artistic, archeological and ethnographic assets.

For the same reason, many words from all over the world, especially in English, have been adopted by the islands language.

 

papasKinegua is the name of the villa as a tribute to this story. It became, in a very curious way, a common word in the local language when referring to some of the delicacies from the island:Potatoes.
